We got to the police station and walked in. We let them know I was there and sat down and waited for the officer to come get us. A few minutes went by and out came the officer that was on the case. He walked my mom and I back into the interrogation room. We sat down at the table.
He began asking my mom questions about having her permission to ask me questions while she was in the room. I was a minor so a parent had to be in the room with me. Once he was done with her he turned to me and started asking me the basic questions such as age, birthday and where I was that night and what was I doing. I went on to tell them my age, birthday, and where I was.
I then when in to detail of everything that happened that day and night. Although the cop did not believe me. He kept badgering me telling me I was lying and that there was more to the story then what I was telling him. I repeatedly told him the same thing over and over again because that is what happened. He said that I was the one that was pointed out for taking all the things.
Here is my question though if I was to take all that stuff how would I have carried it all, all around town. If you remember me saying I did not go home or had any where to go that night so I walked all around town. Also the followed me down the road and watched me leave so how could I have been the one to take all this stuff?
This cop was on me so bad I was in tears. He then said to e only the guilty cry. What? Seriously? That is not true I am crying because you will not believe me. You will take in what I am telling you. I have never had a run in with the cops unlike the other people at the party, so why me? Why am I the one being interrogated here? He went on to threaten me with locking my up in jail. I had nothing else to tell him, I knew nothing else. What am I suppose to do?
After an hour of this they finally gave up and said I was free to go. That if I remember anything or hear anything that I needed to contact them. Also that if they hear anything they will be in contact with me. A few days later they contacted my mom and apologized because they had found the person that took all the stuff.
